Are you a college student interested in local county government?
Do you want to make an impact for Imperial County residents?
Are you a leader with a strong academic background?
On March 23, 2021 the County of Imperial Board of Supervisors approved establishment of the 2021 Fellowship Program for college students. The goal of the fellowship program is to prepare college students for work in the various sectors of county local government by providing them opportunities for mentorship, service projects, scholarship funds, and employment. Fellows will be able to apply classroom learning to real world work experience to better prepare them to make an impact in the local community.
Fellows do not have to be attending college or university in the Imperial County to qualify. Fellows enrolled in college/university out of state are eligible as long as they meet all other requirements.
Applicants are encouraged to thoroughly read through guidelines, FAQs, participation timeline, and sample application before beginning their online application. FAQs may be updated on a regular basis as new questions are received.
Check out this video on how to use Submittable to complete your Fellowship application. Technical questions on how to use Submittable can be found here.
Online application will be available from April 9, 2021 at noon to May 14, 2021 11:59pm
