The County Library has tons of items to select from including books, audiobooks, eBooks, DVDs, and toys! Check out the library catalog to find something that interests you.

A person of any age can obtain a free library card at any of the County Library locations. Simply complete a library card application, provide a photo ID and a proof of current mailing address. Any item mailed to the potential patron can work as a proof of address (such as current utility bill or recent bank statement). The first card is free but costs $2.00 to replace a lost card. Children under the age of 17 require a parent/legal guardian to complete a library card application. Most library cards can be processed during your visit to the library.
When you sign your library card you assume responsibility for anything that is checked-out on your card. If you change your mailing address, email address, etc., notify the library on your next visit. If your library card is lost or stolen, it is very important to notify the library as soon as possible since you are still responsible for items checked out on your card. Your library card privileges must be renewed every two years.
NOTE: If you have an expired card or need a replacement card, do NOT apply for a new library card. Instead, please visit your local branch library for assistance in renewing your library card.
Fines and Fees: A fee of $.10 per day, per book, is charged for overdue books up to the cost of the book. Overdue videos and DVDs cost $1 per day, per item, up to the cost of the item. No fines accrue on days when the branch is not open.
Lost Item: When an item is lost, we will charge the patron the cost of replacing the item (the price is shown on the catalog card) as well as a $5.00 processing fee. The processing fee covers the cost to the library of locating and ordering another copy of the item, as well as the cost in materials and time of re-processing that book.
If you don't have a particular topic in mind, request a Surprise Book Bundle--just let us know if you want fiction, non-fiction or both.
If you have a specific topic or genre you're interested in, request a Custom Book Bundle and list whether you want fiction, non-fiction or both.
Grab and Go Book Bundles contain three books. Staff will contact you once your Bundle is ready for pick up.
Zip Books is a way for customers to request books that the Library doesn't own. The item is shipped directly to you using Amazon Prime. Once you're done with the book, simply return it to your local County library branch.
